Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men... it is the Lord Christ you are
serving.

ACA Sneaks Past Bend on Controversial Call
After taking a 2-0 first half lead on goals by Caleb
Peterson and Daniel Olsen, the Eagles nearly couldn't hold off the Bend
rally. The Broncos scored one quickly to start the second half and
took shot after shot as the clock wound down. With only about five
minutes remaining, Bend's big goalie launched a kick that bounced over the
heads of ACA defenders and one of their fast forwards scored on a fast break
to tie the game at 2. The Broncos' celebration was short lived though,
as the referees had signaled off sides against ACA before the Bend goalie
picked up the ball to make his kick. The goal was called back and the
Eagles barely hung on against an aggressive attack in the closing minutes.
Skyler Rowen did an excellent job in his first full game as goalie and Nate
Warfield showed huge improvement in his awareness of the field by making
great passes time and time again. Sarah Rowen showed great instinct
and aggressiveness to keep the ball from Bend's star players and the team as
a whole had one of their best passing efforts yet.
